Responsibility
- Assist in the daily operations of the Fabric Department, including receiving, sorting, and organizing fabric materials.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming fabrics to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Support the team in preparing fabric materials for production, including cutting and labeling as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of the fabric storage area to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of fabric materials for production.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in textiles or fashion is a plus.
- Basic understanding of fabric types, textures, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move fabric materials (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
