Responsibility
- Develop and Implement Cybersecurity Strategy: Design, establish, and oversee a comprehensive cybersecurity program tailored to the organizationâs needs and risk profile.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and local regulations, conducting regular audits and assessments.
- Incident Response Leadership: Lead the development and execution of incident response plans, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate cybersecurity risks through proactive threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.
- Vendor and Third-Party Risk Management: Assess and monitor the security posture of vendors, partners, and third-party service providers.
- Security Architecture Oversight: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into systems, networks, and applications.
- Reporting and Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on cybersecurity status, risks, and improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 8 years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing security programs.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with global and local cybersecurity regulations, including GDPR, PDPA, and other compliance standards.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate security policies, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and respond effectively to emerging threats.
