Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into new and existing systems.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption technologies, and network security.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve security issues.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
