Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to evaluate system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance protection.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and recovery from security breaches.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the deployment of security patches and updates.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Document security incidents, responses, and resolutions for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis and vulnerability management.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and best practices.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
