Responsibility
- Monitor security alerts and incidents generated by firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
- Analyze and respond to potential security threats in real-time to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and protocols.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident reports and compliance records.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey security risks and solutions to stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
