Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of critical facility infrastructure including UPS, HVAC, generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Manage technical teams and third-party contractors to ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Method of Procedures (MOPs).
- Conduct regular site inspections and performance audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to achieve 99.999% facility uptime.
- Coordinate emergency response and incident management protocols for any facility-related outages or issues.
- Manage operational budgets, including forecasting, procurement, and vendor contract management.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, asset registers, and performance reports for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience managing critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or manufacturing plants.
- In-depth knowledge of critical power and cooling infrastructure (Chillers, CRAC units, UPS, ATS, Switchgears).
- Proven track record in team management, stakeholder communication, and vendor coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system failures under pressure.
- Certification in Data Center Management (e.g., CDCP) or Professional Engineering licensure is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS) and facility maintenance software.
