Responsibility
- Lead the credit assessment of new leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions in the European market.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, ratio analysis, and scenario testing.
- Monitor and evaluate the credit quality of existing portfolio holdings, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement credit strategies aligned with market trends.
- Stay abreast of macroeconomic developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting the European leveraged finance market.
- Engage with external parties, including issuers, investors, and rating agencies, to gather market intelligence.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit research methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit research, leveraged finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of European leveraged loan and high yield bond markets.
- Proficient in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and credit analysis.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
