Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive credit risk policies and procedures to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the analysis of credit portfolios, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess creditworthiness, structure financing solutions, and mitigate risk exposure.
- Oversee the design and enhancement of credit scoring models and analytical tools to improve decision-making accuracy.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance, risk metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor economic and market conditions to anticipate potential impacts on credit risk and portfolio performance.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including Basel III and other relevant standards.
- Mentor and develop a team of credit analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in credit risk management, portfolio analytics, or a related role within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong background in credit policy development, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or SAS).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, credit products, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or emerging markets is a plus.
