Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality analytical solutions
- Develop and implement advanced predictive models and machine learning algorithms for financial services applications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making
- Design and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for large-scale datasets
- Oversee the deployment of analytical models into production environments
- Establish best practices for data science methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Present complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, actionable formats
- Stay current with emerging trends in data science, AI, and financial technology
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data science with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record in financial services or banking sector (preferred)
- Strong expertise in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks) is a plus
