Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the billing and credit control functions for retail business customers.
- Conduct credit assessments and evaluations to determine customer creditworthiness.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize overdue balances.
- Develop and implement effective billing strategies to optimize cash flow.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
- Prepare and present credit reports and financial analyses to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to credit management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit and billing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit management, billing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit management is a plus.
