Responsibility
- Lead and execute assurance reviews of credit risk frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Identify and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities within credit risk management processes.
- Develop and implement strategic recommendations to enhance the robustness of credit risk frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and adherence to credit risk policies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on assurance review findings for senior management.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk management.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on credit risk assurance methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, assurance, or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in conducting assurance reviews, audits, or risk assessments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) is highly desirable.
