Responsibility
- Evaluate credit applications and determine credit limits based on financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and reducing overdue payments.
- Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities, aging analysis, and credit risk exposure.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address client concerns and improve payment processes.
- Implement and enforce credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debt and financial losses.
- Conduct periodic reviews of client credit profiles and adjust credit terms as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis, collections, or a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of credit principles, financial statements, and risk assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive financial discussions.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local and international credit regulations is a plus.
