Responsibility
- Manage and evaluate customer credit applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess financial risks associated with credit extensions, recommending appropriate credit limits.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to support business growth while maintaining financial prudence.
- Conduct regular reviews of customer credit profiles and adjust credit terms as necessary.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and resolve disputes to minimize bad debt exposure.
- Prepare and present credit risk reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit management.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
