Responsibility
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of loan applicants, including individuals and businesses, to assess creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine the likelihood of repayment.
- Develop and present detailed credit reports with recommendations for approval, denial, or conditional lending terms.
- Collaborate with lending teams to establish credit limits, interest rates, and repayment terms based on risk assessments.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend proactive measures to mitigate losses.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may impact credit decisions.
- Utilize financial software and tools to streamline credit analysis processes and improve accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders regarding credit decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial risk assessment, or a similar role within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, ratio analysis, and credit scoring tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
