Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze account receivables to ensure timely collections and minimize delinquencies.
- Conduct credit assessments and evaluate the financial health of clients to determine credit limits.
- Prepare detailed reports on aging receivables, bad debt provisions, and collection performance.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment plans.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
- Maintain accurate records of all credit and collection activities in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and forecasts related to receivables.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit and collections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis, collections, or accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and collection strategies.
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of local and international credit regulations is a plus.
