Responsibility
- Develop conceptual design plans based on client briefs, including mood boards, color palettes, and material selections.
- Create detailed 2D/3D renderings and technical drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution from design to installation.
- Source and specify furniture, fixtures, and finishes that align with design themes, budgets, and sustainability goals.
- Conduct site visits to assess spaces, take measurements, and oversee progress to maintain design integrity.
- Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback to refine concepts and achieve approval.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; a portfolio showcasing residential/commercial projects is required.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably with a focus on high-end or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and 3D visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, ergonomics, and building codes relevant to Indonesia.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and locally sourced materials is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian is advantageous.
