Responsibility
- Review and analyze Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare detailed and competitive quotations for clients, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, procurement, and production, to gather necessary information for costing.
- Conduct cost analysis and evaluate pricing structures to optimize profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, cost estimates, and project-related documentation.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure costing data aligns with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
- Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries regarding quotations and pricing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in costing, pricing, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or technical industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for cost analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing quotations and financial documents.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ERP systems or costing software is a plus.
