Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely approval of invoices.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
