Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for Swiss-based clients, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Swiss GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Coordinate tax filings, VAT returns, and ensure adherence to Swiss and EU financial regulations.
- Leverage AI-powered accounting software to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and generate insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Provide financial reporting and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in international accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to Swiss/EU financial systems preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Swiss GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable internet connection.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
