Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and submission of tax returns and related filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
