Responsibility
- Develop and maintain internal cost control systems to track operational expenses across all departments.
- Analyze budget variances, identifying the root causes of discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to monitor raw material costs and optimize inventory valuation.
- Support the annual budgeting process and assist in financial forecasting activities.
- Monitor and audit project-based costs to ensure projects remain within authorized budget limits.
- Implement cost-saving strategies to improve overall company profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Accurate).
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and budget variance analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong communication skills to effectively translate financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight monthly reporting deadlines.
