Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, including COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and HPP (Harga Pokok Penjualan).
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, procurement, finance) to gather cost data and optimize spending.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing cost-related insights and projections.
- Monitor inventory valuation and ensure proper allocation of overhead costs.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare ad-hoc cost analysis reports for senior management to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and accounting standards (PSAK).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is required.
