Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze production, operational, and overhead costs to identify trends and variances.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects, process improvements, and capital expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Implement and maintain cost accounting systems, including inventory valuation and job costing.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across all business operations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial data management.
- Experience in the manufacturing or milling industry is highly desirable.
