Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market trends.
- Collaborate with R&D and formulation teams to develop innovative, high-quality cosmetic and personal care products.
- Drive packaging innovation by working with design and engineering teams to create sustainable, consumer-friendly solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices for product safety and efficacy.
- Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing partners to optimize production timelines and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including specifications, testing protocols, and launch timelines.
- Present product concepts and progress updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care product development, with a strong portfolio of launched products.
- Deep understanding of formulation science, ingredient functionality, and regulatory requirements in the beauty industry.
- Proven experience in packaging development, including material selection, sustainability considerations, and design collaboration.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using product development software and tools (e.g., PLM systems, formulation databases).
- Passion for beauty trends, consumer insights, and innovation in the personal care industry.
