Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive corporate event bookings across Shangri-Laâs Bali properties (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung).
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate clients, including multinational companies, local businesses, and international organizations.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial client contact to contract negotiation, event planning, and post-event follow-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, F&B) to ensure flawless execution of corporate events, conferences, and meetings.
- Conduct site inspections, presentations, and proposals to showcase Shangri-Laâs event capabilities and secure bookings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine sales strategies and maximize revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the corporate sector, including HR, procurement, and event planning teams.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through proactive outreach and relationship management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate event sales, hospitality sales, or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a luxury hospitality or event management environment.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with high-level clients.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tracking tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regional locations for client meetings and site inspections.
