Responsibility
- Assemble, disassemble, and repair computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, Linux) and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Set up, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Install and update device drivers, firmware, and security patches to ensure system stability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing their IT-related queries and concerns.
- Perform regular maintenance and preventive checks on hardware and network equipment.
- Document all service and repair actions, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Computer Hardware Technician or Networking Technician (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for hardware and network analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
