Responsibility
- Conduct thorough monitoring of daily trade activities to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Perform comprehensive AML/KYC checks for new and existing institutional clients within the Capital Markets division.
- Investigate and escalate suspicious transaction patterns or compliance breaches to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports for local and international financial authorities.
- Collaborate with front-office desks to provide compliance advisory and ensure trade documentation is accurate.
- Participate in internal audits and support the remediation of any identified control gaps.
- Stay updated on evolving trade regulations, banking laws, and market conduct requirements in Singapore.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, or Trade Operations within a Banking or Capital Markets environment.
- Solid understanding of MAS regulations and international trade compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify anomalies.
- Proficiency in trade surveillance tools and MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with various stakeholders effectively.
