Responsibility
- Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous treatments under physician supervision, ensuring strict adherence to protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses in a daycare setting.
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families navigating cancer treatment.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment by following infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on oncology nursing best practices.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (SRN) license with valid certification in Indonesia.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in daycare or outpatient settings.
- Proven expertise in chemotherapy administration and patient monitoring.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment with resilience and empathy.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation systems.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are advantageous.
