As a Staff Nurse (Community), you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, pain management, and emotional support to patients and their families. Responsibility
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in home and community settings, focusing on palliative and end-of-life needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with doctors, therapists, and family members.
- Administer medications, wound care, and other medical treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
- Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families, helping them cope with illness and grief.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, symptom control, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community resources to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care strategy discussions.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with valid certification to practice in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in nursing, with preference for palliative care, home health, or community nursing.
- Strong knowledge of pain management, symptom control, and end-of-life care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, community-based environment.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to ethical nursing practices.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
