Responsibility
- Proactively identify and acquire new SME business clients within the Kluang region through effective networking and lead generation.
- Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of SME clients by providing consultative financial advice and cross-selling banking products.
- Analyze credit proposals and assess the financial health of businesses to ensure sound lending decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business chambers, trade associations, and key community stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated banking issues for SME clients promptly.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for loans, deposits, and trade finance products.
- Stay updated on market trends, local economic conditions, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SME banking, commercial lending, or business relationship management.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and banking regulations.
- Proven track record of achieving sales KPIs and building a client base from scratch.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a strong advantage for the Kluang market).
- Self-motivated professional with high integrity and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Johor region for client meetings.
