Responsibility
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies to attract new SME clients in Bali, focusing on high-potential industries and business communities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners, chambers of commerce, and industry associations to identify opportunities for partnership and growth.
- Conduct market research to understand the financial needs, challenges, and trends affecting SMEs in Bali, and tailor banking products accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and promote SME banking solutions, including loans, credit facilities, and digital banking services.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual acquisition targets by proactively engaging with prospects through networking events, cold calls, and referrals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new SME clients.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of acquisition campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements affecting SME banking, ensuring all activities adhere to Hong Leong Bank’s policies and local laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the banking or financial services sector, with a focus on SME clients.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing a portfolio of SME clients, with a strong understanding of their financial needs and pain points.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders, including business owners and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with digital banking tools and platforms, and the ability to leverage technology to enhance client engagement and service delivery.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; knowledge of local dialects in Bali is an advantage.
