Responsibility
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns tailored to public sector audiences, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Create engaging content (articles, social media posts, videos, infographics) that simplifies complex topics and resonates with target stakeholders.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, email campaigns, and paid advertising to maximize reach and engagement.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., web traffic, social media analytics) to refine strategies and report on ROI.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and public sector partners to produce cohesive branding materials and messaging.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in communications, public relations, and digital marketing to innovate campaign approaches.
- Coordinate media relations and press outreach to enhance the organizationâs public image and thought leadership.
- Support the planning and execution of events, webinars, or workshops to foster community engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in content creation, digital marketing, or public relations, preferably in the public sector or NGO space.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio showcasing diverse content formats.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Insights).
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization for search and engagement.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
