Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement of materials for manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring cost efficiency and quality compliance.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with operational goals and timelines.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing working capital.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or high-tech industries.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to procurement and supply chain management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
