Responsibility
- Lead and execute commissioning activities for data center projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems from Cx.L1 to L3.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, test procedures, and documentation in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to resolve technical issues and ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform system performance analysis and troubleshooting to optimize data center operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process.
- Provide technical support and training to operational teams during project handover.
- Generate detailed commissioning reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer in data center or similar critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning protocols (Cx.L1 to L3) and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEMA, IEEE).
- Proficiency in using commissioning software and tools for system validation and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Selangor and Johor as required.
- Certification in commissioning (e.g., CCP, CxA) is a plus.
