Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of food supplies and other commissary items.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure quality and quantity.
- Issue supplies to various departments and maintain records of all transactions.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure proper storage of food items to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to place orders and manage deliveries.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and stock movements.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a food service or hospitality setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and storage regulations.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
