Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Japanese dishes, with a focus on Beef Katsu and other signature items.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support the kitchen team in food plating, garnishing, and ensuring timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
- Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards to uphold food safety.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in Japanese or Asian cuisine.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices.
