Responsibility

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of Korean-inspired dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Ensure all ingredients are prepped, portioned, and stored according to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing utensils, equipment, and workstations.
  • Support the culinary team during peak hours by plating dishes, garnishing, and ensuring timely service.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques (prior experience in a kitchen is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the culinary team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking methods and kitchen procedures.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training will be provided).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
