Responsibility
- Develop and present financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support business planning and performance evaluation.
- Conduct investment appraisals and ROI analyses for new projects, expansions, or cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with actionable insights for senior management.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align financial strategies with commercial goals.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance profitability.
- Monitor key financial KPIs (e.g., gross margin, working capital, cash flow) and proactively address deviations.
- Support pricing strategies and promotional financial modeling to maximize revenue and market share.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or business partnering.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of retail industry financial metrics and business drivers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
