Responsibility
- Oversee daily collections activities, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, and aging reports.
- Develop and implement credit control policies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
- Liaise with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on collection performance metrics to senior management.
- Train and mentor junior staff in collections best practices and compliance.
- Collaborate with legal teams on escalated collection cases when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies in all financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in collections, AR, or credit control, preferably in insurance/reinsurance.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and risk mitigation.
- Certification in credit management (e.g., CICM) is a plus.
