Responsibility
- Manage and supervise daily collections operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize delinquencies and improve recovery rates.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Liaise with external collection agencies, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Train, mentor, and lead a team of collections professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collections performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all collections practices align with local and international laws.
- Utilize data analytics tools to identify at-risk accounts and proactively implement retention strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections management, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
- Proven track record of improving recovery rates and reducing delinquencies.
- Strong knowledge of local and international collections regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and collections management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a customer-centric approach.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or Japanese is a plus.
