Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Respond to service calls promptly, providing on-site troubleshooting and solutions to minimize downtime.
- Install and commission new coffee equipment, ensuring proper setup and client training on operation and basic maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assess client needs and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for service visits.
- Stay updated on the latest coffee machine technologies and industry best practices through continuous learning.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships with clients in Baliâs hospitality sector.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a service technician, preferably with commercial coffee equipment or similar machinery.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics and manuals.
- Certification in HVAC, electrical systems, or a related technical field is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel across Bali for on-site service calls.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg) and work in various environments (e.g., kitchens, cafes).
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with brands like La Marzocco, Rancilio, or Nuova Simonelli is highly desirable.
