Responsibility
- Assist senior CNC operators in setting up, calibrating, and operating machinery for shipbuilding components.
- Load and unload raw materials (e.g., steel, aluminum) into CNC machines with precision.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality output and report any deviations or malfunctions.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning machines and replacing tools, to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
- Follow detailed blueprints and technical specifications to produce marine-grade parts.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including PPE usage and workshop cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines for shipyard projects.
- Participate in on-the-job training to expand knowledge of CNC programming and maritime manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or metalwork is a plus.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or willingness to learn CNC operations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 20 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in component production.
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings or instructions.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Familiarity with shipyard or industrial environments is advantageous but not required.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian to communicate effectively with the team.
