Responsibility
- Operate and maintain CNC Turning and Milling machines with Fanuc Controls to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry regulations.
- Document production data, including machine settings, measurements, and any deviations for quality control.
- Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment, preferably in oil & gas.
- Proficient in operating CNC Turning and Milling machines with Fanuc Controls.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Experience with precision measuring tools and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic programming (G-code, M-code).
- Certification in machining or a related field is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
