Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electro-mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in container management systems, implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment to minimize downtime.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance for reporting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards in all technical operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electro-mechanical systems.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing electro-mechanical systems, preferably in a port or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, hydraulic systems, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in occupational health and safety is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
