Responsibility
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient intake, including registration, vital signs measurement, and medical history documentation.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are clean, sterilized, and ready for use.
- Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality, adhering to data protection and clinic protocols.
- Coordinate appointment schedules, follow-ups, and reminders to optimize clinic efficiency and patient flow.
- Provide administrative support, including handling phone inquiries, emails, and correspondence with patients and external parties.
- Assist in minor medical procedures under the supervision of doctors or nurses, such as wound dressing or specimen collection.
- Educate patients on clinic policies, treatment plans, and post-visit care instructions to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Nursing, Medical Assisting, or a related healthcare field (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a clinical, hospital, or healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in basic medical terminology, procedures, and patient care techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or clinic management software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
