Responsibility
- Assist medical staff with patient intake, including registration, vital signs measurement, and medical history documentation.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing clinic calendars efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing medical records, processing paperwork, and managing patient data with confidentiality.
- Provide basic patient care, including escorting patients to treatment rooms and ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medical supplies.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct communications to the appropriate staff members.
- Adhere to all clinic policies, healthcare regulations, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare assistance (e.g., nursing aide) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
