Responsibility
- Investigate and validate insurance claims to determine recovery potential.
- Negotiate with third-party insurers, policyholders, and legal representatives to recover outstanding amounts.
- Prepare and submit recovery demands, legal notices, and subrogation claims as required.
- Maintain accurate records of claims recovery activities, payments, and correspondence in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with underwriting and legal teams to assess liability and recovery strategies.
- Monitor and follow up on pending recovery cases to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive recovery discussions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in insurance claims, recovery, or subrogation.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a track record of successful recoveries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex claims.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and claims management software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPCU, AIC) are a plus.
