Responsibility
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for civil and structural engineering projects using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate drafts.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from senior engineers or clients to ensure precision and functionality.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, bills of quantities, and material takeoffs.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all project-related drawings and documentation.
- Participate in site visits to verify as-built conditions and incorporate field measurements into designs.
- Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Draughtsperson or CAD Technician in civil/structural projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software; familiarity with BIM is a plus.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and material specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness to produce error-free designs.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
