Responsibility
- Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000).
- Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor construction progress, verify structural integrity, and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to optimize designs for cost-efficiency, sustainability, and functionality.
- Prepare and submit engineering reports, permits, and documentation for regulatory approvals.
- Sign and seal engineering plans, ensuring legal and professional accountability.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and construction teams to uphold quality standards.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, materials, and technologies in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; licensed Civil Engineer (Philippines or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, seismic design principles, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate them into structural plans.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and presenting technical information.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as needed.
