Responsibility
- Design and analyze civil and structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural conditions and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project feasibility and success.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations to validate design integrity under different load conditions.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Stay updated with the latest engineering trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent professional body.
- Proven experience in civil and structural engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or SAP2000.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
